Dear Golly Lover,

It is with some trepidation that I try to follow in the footsteps of Juliet Savage! Juliet has done a such a wonderful job as Publisher and Editor of the International Golliwog Collector Club News. Her love for and knowledge of our lovable friend the Golly was always in evidence. As they say in show biz, "she will be a hard act to follow, " but that will wholeheartedly try to do with a little help from my friends Terri Kovacs, Bill Boyd, Jim Koontz, Catherine Saunders Watson, Howard Watson and from time to time Juliet herself.

Having listed some of the Golly Gang that I presently know I would love to have help from you! After all the I.G.C.C. News should represent the views of all of the members. So don't be shy. Send me information about what you collect, you best bargain ever, the piece that you dream about owning or the one that got away! We are not looking for great writers-- only members that want to share their knowledge and the simple joy of collecting.

I want to thank Juliet for her past work and I look forward to her continued support. However, I would not have even attempted this project without the promise of help for this issue from Teri Kovacs and Bill Boyd. My heartfelt thanks to you both. And in advance I thank all of the members for their patience as I undertake this exciting new challenge.
